FAQ’S

Peak workout

  • Our Peak Form Class is suitable for all levels. If you're new to reformer, please let our instructors know so we could give you an introduction on the reformer before the class starts, also provide you with any alternatives and variations in the class.

In terms of booking, we recommend you take up the intro offer for $50 for 5 classes , allowing you to a variety of classes and coaches. We also recommend $99 for 2 weeks unlimited, allowing you to have unlimited use of our classes for two weeks. From there, you can join the Peak Class Package or Peak Regular Membership.

  • If you have some reformer experience and are comfortable with moving on the reformers, you may skip Peak Beginner classes and go straight into Peak Form or Peak Fit (even better, try both class types!). The key difference between Peak Form and Peak Fit is that we will focus more on strength-based training in Peak Fit, where we will use dumbbells to load your upper body as you move through different sequences. If you want to come and move your body, nothing too crazy, go and jump into the Peak Form class. You will still get a good workout and feel revitalised and refreshed. For more details, please go to our ‘Class’ tab on the website.

  • You need to be 16 or over to take a Peak class. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18, you may be eligible to attend classes if a written consent and signature of your parent or legal guardian is provided.

  • If you’re pregnant, you MUST inform the instructor before a class starts. You may be asked to provide some information, including due date, doctor’s approval to exercise and any other information as required. Generally, you may be able to participate in classes up to 12 weeks into your pregnancy, have no complications and have been advised by your doctor that you are capable and healthy. If you are a Peak regular client and wish to continue beyond 12 weeks, we do not recommend attending classes without consulting your doctor and one of our staff.

For returning or new post-partum clients, you MUST provide a medical certificate showing clearance from your medical provider. We do not recommend attending classes before 6 weeks post-partum.

If you have further questions, please get in touch with us to discuss further.

Before class

  • You can book classes through our Peak app, website or in-studio. You can find the QR code to download the Peak app on our website.

  • Just wear something you would typically wear to a gym, something comfortable and breathable but won’t restrict your range of motion. You may want to bring some pilates socks with grippy soles for anti-slippery, but it is not mandatory. You will always need to bring sweat towels and a water bottle.

  • Please arrive to your class 10 minutes before scheduled start time.

  • We understand things come up, and you may sometimes need to cancel the class. Please cancel a class at least 9 hours before the start of the class.

Memberships will incur a $10 late cancel fee or a $20 no show fee

  • If you are pregnant, you must notify us before you book and attend any classes.

If you are pregnant within the first trimester, you may continue to come to group classes as usual. If you have passed the first trimester, you can no longer attend Peak FIT classes due to its dynamic movement and faster pace. You may continue to attend FORM classes, we may require a medical certificate depending on the circumstance.

  • We ask that you seek advice from your GP. Typically if your 6 week GP check up is all clear, you may attend classes, we may require a medical certificate depending on the circumstance.

After class

  • We hope you enjoyed the class and feel refreshed! There is nothing specific you need to do. If you have any questions or concerns, please inform our staff or email us.
